What's the difference between signing up for the mailing list and becoming a member?

The main differences are:
 
Members can download everything that has "Free for Members" - which can be quite a lot at times.  In addition to monthly newsletters updating you on the free stuff we're giving away, you'll have INSTANT access to all of our free downloads and exclusive content on the tts a/v club page.    Membership is free too.

When you sign the mailing list, you'll get a free one-time download after you receive a confirmation email.  This gives you access to our monthly newsletter updating you on our endeavors, including all the free content we're giving away for that month.

What's up with giving away all your music for free?  What's the catch?

TTS is about as much a DIY project as you can get.  We write and record our music inside our own studio, dubbed Alamalibu.   We do it because we love it.   And we simply would like to spread our music as far and wide as possible.  In fact we hope you'll share our music with your friends.

As far as catch.  There's no catch.  We're asking for email addresses and zipcodes and hopefully your membership to our site:

• So that we can touch base every once in a while to invite you to a show if we pass through your area.
• More importantly, to give you more music that hopefully you'll enjoy as much as we do.
